2. What data we collect
- Order details: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, ordered products and order history. Payments are processed by the payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.
- Car and fitment details: car make, model, year and factory system, photos of your dashboard or screen, and any other details you send us so we can find the right unit or solve a problem.
- Messages: what you send us by email, through the contact form, or on WhatsApp, Viber or Facebook.
- Device and usage data: IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, pages you view and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Affiliate referrals: which partner sent you to us, if you arrive through a partner link.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
- To process and deliver your order, give support and handle returns and warranty claims (performance of a contract).
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
- To prevent fraud, keep our website secure, improve our website and service, and defend legal claims (our legitimate interests).
- To show you relevant ads, measure how our ads perform and send you our newsletter (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
4. Who we share your data with
We only share what is needed:
- Shopify, which runs our online store and processes payments (Shopify Privacy Policy).
- Payment providers: PayPal and Klarna. If you choose Klarna, Klarna may check your credit and is responsible for its own decision.
- Delivery companies (such as DPD, GLS, DHL, PostNL, Smartposti and Evri) and our warehouse partner in the USA, which ships orders to the USA and Canada.
- Advertising and analytics: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, to show and measure ads and to understand how our website is used.
- Website tools: Orbe (detects your country from your IP address to show the right language and currency), UpPromote (affiliate tracking) and Netlify (hosts the form you can use to send us photos).
- Messaging services such as WhatsApp, Viber and Facebook Messenger, when you contact us there.
- Our accountants and legal advisers, and public authorities when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data for money.
5. Transfers outside Europe
Some of these providers process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the USA or Canada. Such transfers are protected by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or by Standard Contractual Clauses. For orders to the USA and Canada, your order details are sent to our US warehouse partner because this is needed to deliver your order.
6. How long we keep your data
- Orders and invoices: as long as Lithuanian accounting and tax law requires (up to 10 years).
- Support, return and warranty messages and photos: as long as needed to handle your request and the warranty, and to deal with possible claims.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Cookies: see section 7.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies make the store work (shopping cart, checkout, language and currency, security). With your consent, we also use analytics and marketing cookies, including the Meta Pixel and Google tags. Visitors from the EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec can accept or decline these cookies in our cookie banner. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the store may then not work. Most cookies expire between 30 minutes and 2 years. Shopify's list of the cookies it uses is available at shopify.com/legal/cookies.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use (including, at any time, to direct marketing), receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before. To use these rights, email support@naviradiostore.com. We reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or to the data protection authority in your country.
9. Residents of the USA
Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money, but sharing data with advertising partners may count as "selling" or "sharing" under these laws. You can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page. You can also make requests through an authorised agent. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
10. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based only on automated processing. Shopify uses automated checks to help prevent fraud, for example by temporarily blocking IP addresses or cards linked to repeated failed payments.
11. Children
Our store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Card payments are encrypted and processed by the payment providers.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
